The Two Saints Way guidebook

At long last, The Two Saints Way Guide is ready for publication and it will be available in November. You can see what the guidebook will look like by clicking here.

Writing and now publishing this full colour guide book has been a very steep learning curve but I am so grateful to the many people who have helped with the process; particularly the team at Spark Design & Communication, who are based in Kyrgyzstan and have done a magnificent job with the design of the book. Fatima, the lead designer on the project has visited every site via Google Earth. Perhaps one day she’ll experience it in the flesh!

Three and a half years ago I led the launch pilgrimage for The Two Saints Way and in the first week of November I am going to be treading those very familiar paths once again, this time with an accompanying vehicle full of Two Saints Way guidebooks! It’s rather a different way of having a book launch but it will provide me also with a good opportunity to check out how things are with the signage along the route. Here are details of all the launches:

If you can attend one of the book launches and would like to pick up your guidebook then, please email me to pre-order at twosaintsway@gmail.com Let me know where you want to pick up your guide and bring either cash or a cheque made out to ‘Two Saints Way Project’. We will email you nearer the time with details of times and locations for the launches.

  3. Through the Northumbria Community. The Northumbria Community has been one of our partners since the project started and from November you can order from their online shop at http://www.northumbriacommunity.org/shop/ or over the phone by calling the office on 01670 787645.
  4. Through other retailers. The guide should be available through all other normal channels after the launch week.

I do hope you will consider buying a copy and travelling The Two Saints Way yourself! If that’s not for you, perhaps you know someone else who might like to make that journey and for whom the book would make an ideal Christmas present. I look forward to meeting some of you at the book launches.

  1. I am returning to the UK in November and will be living with my sister in Nantwich, which I see is on the route of the Two Saints Way. I will certainly want to walk the route for spiritual reasons. I look forward to meeting anyone connected with the project, especially David and Pam Pott. All the best, Bill.

  2. Walking the local paths around the Stafford area I’ve come across the ‘Two Saints Way’ many times so was inspired to find out more! Fascinating to learn about a new trail.. I’ll certainly be going to one of the local book launches! Excellent work, well done to everyone concerned. Warmest regards, Rob
